Hye everybody!
I just want to explain you what "woofing" is because I'm going to become a volunteer in next June. The WWOOF (World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is a global network of organic farms that intend to accommodate anyone wishing to share his life and his work in exchange for room and meals.
In my opinion, it's a good way to cross different goals: travel, discover a country, a culture, a way of life, meet other people, spend some good time with local populations, learn techniques of farming and ranching environmentally and, for sure, improve my english!
One of the main advantages of this arrangement is the price: 20 € membership per year. It's also why I can tell you this organisation: I suppose that you're students and you're like me: you're broke! This registration gives you an instantaneous access to the list of hosts that offer to welcome you in their houses, anywhere in the world!
If you want more informations, please tell me, I'd be happy to answer!
Hey Ines !
ReplyDeleteI like your publication ! It's very interesting, I didn't know the WWOOF.
You'll become a volunteer in next June but do you go in the country? And where do you go?
Hello Ines! I think it is a very good initiative to become a WWOOF! I didn't know that before and I think it is important that people like you become volunteer but me I can't because I'm not very attract by this kind of things!
ReplyDeleteWhy have you choose this association and how do you know WWOOF?
Another thing, I have little difficulties to read some words with this writing!! It's just an advice ;)
ReplyDeleteHello Amel! I'm very happy to discover that my little presentation of my plan is captivating several people! If you want to become a "WWOOFER", realise outdoor tasks is not the only way. I've found some ads from families living and working in coffeestore librairie or in a theatrical circus! The only similar goal between the various propositions is a way of life respincting nature. For my part, I've discovered wwoofing thanks to two of my friends who are currently travelling across America Latina by this association. Finally, concerning the way of writting on my blog, I will change it immediatly, thank you for your advice!
ReplyDeletehey Ines!! I love your publication, I know the WWOOF because one of my friend is a member!
ReplyDeleteHe wanted to go in New-Zeland and he decided to sign in a similar organisation : They can sleep and eat in house in the country but they had to help for little wark as painting, or wash the cars etc...
He told me that it was a really good experience because he took time to visit the country and when i saw the pictures i founded the landscap really amazing ( i advise you to travel in this country).
